Picked up a New Diamond on Ebay a month or so ago. It was 60 USD, and it was in amazingly good condition. The seller rated it a 9 of 10, and I'd have to agree. The glass is perfect, the leatherette is not even beginning to lift. The only reason it's a 9 is for a small mark on the film door. Otherwise, it looks like it had been used maybe 10 times. It came with the fitted leather case (8 of 10) and the proper lens cap.The only mechanical issue was a sticky shutter, but after a giving the mechanism a Ronsonol bath, it works fine. The only other changes I will be making is to replace the less-than-great mirror, and regrind the ground glass with some 500 grit aluminum oxide all in order to brighten the view up a bit. Given the crazy prices of the Rolleis and the Autocords, I was thrilled to get this camera at this price. With the triplet lens on this camera, I didn't expect Rolleiflex 2.8 results, but I was pleasantly surprised by the sharpness and contrast I found. I will post some photos later (once i get acclimated to Collectiblend...)

Yes, please, share the photos!
Are you sure you want to regrind the glass? Or this is more of a functional camera for you, not a collectible item?

Oh, it will be used. I can't imagine this box ever becoming a collector's item, and after using it for awhile, I find that I like everything about this camera. I don't foresee ever selling it. This Ricoflex has reminded my why I took up photography in the first place. For the past X number of years, I had been shooting strictly digital, and I found myself bored to tears with it. I needed to get back to film.
