1978-1980. Simplified M4. Plastic instead of vulcanite, thinner chrome finish, no self-timer, but can accept motor. Most of these cameras came in black-chrome. Chrome-only versions are rare. "Panda" is a chrome version, with black fittings (dials, levers, etc). The M4-2 "Panda" is almost unknown. Could be a later modification.
