Searching eBay listings: 

1940-1946. Same as the Leica IIIc but with ball-bearing shutter (supposed to be used in the cold climate). Also with "K" (Kugellager) at the end of the serial number. "Heer" (earlier cameras), "W.H." (later) or eagle (?) engraving. Ball-bearing bodies are either "half-race" (ball-bearing shutter) or "full race" (ball-bearing shutter, advance and rewind knobs). Fiducial points are rare.
