This picture looks like the "Normal" Disc 3100 (there is also no picture yet) - what is the difference with the Luxus ?

This camera features a rather different copper-colored faceplate, behind which lies a snapshot camera with electronic flash, all powered by a PP3 or as it is better known 9V battery. A variation of this model with a red front panel, was sold by J.C. Penney. Although the published marketing dates for the 3100 model are 1984-87, the camerosity date code in this example translates as 10-85 (CYIR). Some of the red front panel models Camerosity codes denote being made before 1984 so maybe J.C. Penney had this model before it was released for general sale. This camera uses VR Disc film and sold in the US for a list price of $48.00. It has a 12.5mm, f/2.8 lens and shutter speeds of 1/100 of a second plus 1/200 of a second. It also has a built in lens and viewfinder cover that seconds as the on/off switch.

You seem to be referring to a specific camera, can you post a picture ?

I am unsure how to post a picture on this site but you can view it in my collection "bill339". It did seem strange to me that "Luxus", was at the end of the cameras name but when I reviewed the picture on the site it was identical to the one I have so I went with it. Please tell me what you think.
Thanks,
Bill

Thank you, as there is no picture yet of the camera on the description page, I think it is still useful to add a picture to your message so that also non registered users can see it (you need to be registered in order to browse the camera collections).
In order to do this you should look at the bottom of the screen when you are composing a message.
You will see 2 tabs "Options" and "Upload attachment"
Clicking on "upload attachment" will reveal a box where you can browse for a file on your computer. If you have selected a file and then click on " add the file" the picture will be added to your message. There is also a field with comments if you wish to add any comments.
Clicking the "submit" button will post the message with the picture which will then also become visible on the description page as well as the forum.
All the best.

I think the problem is that Luxus at the end is a mistake on Collectiblend. The camera is just a Disc 3100 and out of the other two people on the site that have the camera listed with luxus on the end only one has a picture. The picture is of a regular Disc 3100. I'll contact the Administrator for the fix.

Everyone, I renamed this camera to 3100, added a photo from Bill, and added another model - 3100 (red), which was made for J.C.Penney - that one is referred as "Luxus" in some places, but it's just a red model.
Thanks for figuring out this error!
