Killfitt was a private contracting company started by Heinz Killfitt. Amongst his other camera achievements, Killfitt designed the Robot camera, which he sold to Berning, and the Mecaflex which he sold to Metz. However, when Metz bailed out of the deal, Mecaflex cameras were produced in Monaco by S.E.R.O.A.
