Don't forget to update your personal camera inventory
Collection by StevenHuff.
My interest in photography began in my pre-teen years. Initially I used my mother's point and shoot camera but finally purchased my own first "real" camera around 1975. It was a 35mm Yachica Electro 35 GSN rangefinder which I used for a few years before graduating up to a Canon AE-1 Program (which I still own, but rarely use). I don't still have the Yashica but will add one to my collection if I can find one in mint or near mint condition. If you know of one, please let me know. I only started collecting cameras over the past couple of years. My mom moved a couple years back and when going through boxes realized she had a box of old cameras... and gave it to me. I've always been fascinated with old cameras so her gift of those few cameras ignited my interest to start collecting them. I now have many more cameras than are listed here and will gradually add them as time allows. I like to upload pictures of my own cameras rather than use the stock images available on this site. So I will be updating my pictures as I go along.Contact StevenHuff

Zeiss Ikon: Taxo 122/7 | 1927-1931 | Nov 2012 | This is my Zeiss Ikon Taxo folding plate camera made around 1927. This one features a Zeiss Ikon Nettar 105mm f6.8 lens with a Derval Shutter. This is the 9x12cm version (122/7) and is focused by sliding the front lens assembly foward or backward. I bought this camera recently at an estate auction. It was in a tote with many other cameras and I got the whole tote for less than the value of this one camera. |
