In 1960, Zeiss Ikon Stuttgart reused the Tenax name on a small viewfinder camera named Tenax Automatic that ended production in 1963. It has automatic exposure driven by a selenium meter, with a manual override to set the aperture for flash. The Prontormat-s shutter flash sync is by a PC socket hidden under a rotating cover on the top plate. It has a fixed 50mm f/2.8 Carl Zeiss Tessar lens, marked with focus zones on the top and a distance scale underneath. The lens serial number is 2916965 and the focus icons on the lens is one person from the waist up, three people standing, and a group of mountains. You can also use the number set on the bottom of the lens that ranges from 3.5 feet to infinity. The camera also has a large crank for rewinding that pops out from hiding when you push the rewind release button. Both are on the bottom of the camera with the ΒΌ inch 20 thread tripod socket. The selenium meter only works when the shutter is loaded and it has an ASA adjuster that moves a red viewing slot accordingly. There is also an ASA/DIM reminder plate on the back of the camera that has a dial you can set.
