Photographica World estimate is a way too high. Known camera sales were $10-15.

Right, I bought mine at around 40 €. It's a 1930 model, I love it for its simplicity, though the viewfinders are very difficult to manage with.
In addition, the focusing is hard and many times the contours are blurred and without definition.
Anyway, it's a funny point-and-shoot and it keeps working after 80 years. --- this is my Flickr set of pictures taken with the 54/2, both bw and color.
