Roberts Brothers company was established approximately in 1842 as a cabinet manufacturer, in Boston, USA, by Thomas H. Robert and Oliver L. Roberts. At some point (about 1850) they also started to manufacture daguerreotype cameras, usually sliding-box type. The company traces are lost around 1890s. |
