The camera has a 114mm, f/9.2 3-element glass or sometimes plastic lens with an electronic shutter with a range about 1/10 of a second to 1/500 of a second. It also has a built-in flashcube socket that automatically rotates after each exposure, automatic exposure system, settings for 75 and 3000 speed films with fixed aperture for each, optical viewfinder, development rollers instead of spreader bars, can use either standard rectangular format OR square format pack films (viewfinder automatically adjusts to the proper format depending on pack size inserted), and the lens has a focus range 3.5 feet to infinity. The camera can still be used with Fujifilm FP-100 black & white or color and FP-3000 black & white film. This film is expensive but worth it once for the experience. The camera was introduced in 1977 the year Polaroid discontinued the numbered Land billows series. To operate the flashcubes you need to install two AA batteries inside the photo chamber behind the lens. They have a very clever battery cage that is hinged and affixed to the cameras inner workings.
