Photographic Apparatus & Chemical had a very short lifespan. It was established as J.M. Copeland & Company at "15 Barbican, London" around 1885 (maybe a little earlier, but not earlier than 1879, as this address was occupied by R.W.Baxter & Co). In February 1887 it was renamed, and shortly thereafter in 1889 it was sold to George Houghton & Son. The line of cameras from Copeland didn't change in 1887-1889. |
