 In 1919, Photo Porst was established as a camera dealer and distributor. The company distributed re-branded cameras from manufacturers such as Agfa, Balda, Braun, Dacora, Franka and Adox. The company has changed ownership several times since 1996, but is currently still in operation. Carena brand was in and out of the company hands, but ultimately it is the Porst's line of cameras made by various manufacturers (Cosina was one of them).
