The Duroni company was established around 1835. In 1892 it became Murer & Duroni. In 1912 it was also known as Fratelli
Murer. The company ceased to exist in 1934.
While Murer had hundreds of camera designations, usually attributed by one, two, or three letters, for easier identification, I decided
to present cameras in features/sizes listing. Letter designations can be found in model descriptions. Many folding cameras were also
known as Express. Some detective cameras had Universal Express or Simple Express names. Usually the difference was in the quality of
materials. |
