Most of the Advocate cameras are sold with a Dallmeyer 35mm f3.5 lens. Less common is the version with a Wray Lustrar 35 mm f3.5 an example was recently (23 jan 2016) sold on Ebay for 170 GBP (220 Euro). Even less common is the version with a Ross 35 mm f3.5 (source: McKeown's 12th ed page 440).

Below is the description and pictures of the camera that was sold on ebay on 23 jan 2016. (I did not add the price in the table).

"Please refer to the pictures, as they form part of the description.

Stunning example of an Ilford Advocate camera. This is the rare Series II / Mark II 'black face' version with a Wray London 35mm f3.5 Lustrar lens. The paintwork is in very good condition with almost no wear (there is a small scrape mark on the back and a small worn mark on the base) - this really is one of the best condition Advocates I've seen. The adjustment rings move smoothly, the aperture leaves adjust smoothly, the winder winds and the shutter fires - I haven't tested it with film.

It comes with an Actina 26 push-on filter (possibly UV) and an Ilford leather case (the case is not original to the camera and fits well but doesn't screw into the base. This has caused the small wear mark in the paint on the base of the camera. Since coming into my possession, I've put a pad in to protect the camera base.)."
