The Gnome Photographic Products Ltd. company was established c1935 in Stuttgart, Germany by Heinrich Loebstein. Running from Nazis he moved to Wales locating his business in Cardiff. They were mostly making projectors, enlargers and other darkroom equipment, starting inexpensive camera production from late 1940s. The company closed in 1994. |
