I seem to have a really early '67 version.
Is the 69 date conclusive?

Thanks for the heads up, changed the manufacturing start date.

Well, actually, i'm even more confused. I was on Soviet cams last night, and that tends to agree in regards to the 1969 date, thought it states that the 67 prefix relates to the anniversary model (they all started with 67) Mine does not have the anniversary stamp on the top plate! It also states that the lens should be started with 67 too, mine is 87. And there is also the issue that Fed's first 2 digits dont relate to the manufacturing date like most Russian cameras do..So a bit of an odd ball.
You may want to stick to 1969 for now, but will do some more research.

Yep, 1969-1980 all sources.

Thanks for double checking that, mine is clearly a bit odd!
