Alfred Darling started his business in 1894 as a small engineering shop in Brighton, Sussex. In 1897 he came into association with J.Wrench & Son when he and Alfred Wrench took out a patent for a camera with a variable shutter and a claw pull-down mechanism. Darling died in July 1931. |
