![]() In 1889 Blair Co. acquired the Greenpoint Optical Company and some parts of the The Edward Anthony Company. Shortly after, in 1890 Blair Co. expanded again, acquiring the Boston Camera Company. Thomas was removed from the company management in 1893 (creating his own American Camera Manufacturing Company in 1896) and soon after that, in 1899 the Blair company was sold to Eastman Kodak where it continued to operate independently with the headquarters in Rochester, N.Y. until 1908, when the company became Blair Camera Division of Eastman Kodak Company. |
