Purchased SP1000 recently at a local thrift store for $30.00. Camera complete less instruction book and box. Light wear, f:2.8/50mm screw-mount lens, battery door on bottom corroded shut. Sprayed threads w/WD-40, carefully drilled small holes in battery cover, worked out w/2 screwdrivers. Purchased replacement battery door on e-Bay ($10.00), 377 battery ($3.00) at local "Batteries Only" type store (bend tab up a little). Loaded roll of film, meter, transport work. Paid extra $8.00 for 125mm lens. Nice setup for $50.00...
