The Ansco M35 35mm camera had a one year run starting 1985. It has some advanced features for the time like the motor advance and the capability to use ISO 1000 film. Although it has automatic frame advance you have to rewind the film manually with the fold-out crank handle while pressing the film drive release button on the bottom like the TTL camera. The crank handle acted as the film compartment release also and you pull it up to open the film door. The electronics are powered by two AAA batteries and this includes the built-in flash unit with an on/off switch located under the flash in the front. To turn the camera on you simply open the built in lens cover and reveal the focus free f5.6 lens. The camera also has an ISO selector switch located next to the lens and can be adjusted to ISO 100, 200, 400, and 1000. The camera comes equipped with a flash ready LED next to the viewfinder in back, a view port for film identification, a frame counter on top, and a handy built in carry strap. The motor drive also loads the shutter and this affectively is your double exposure protection.
