Frama Fotobedarf (Frama Photo-needs) was established in 1888 by Franz Matthias, according to the catalogs published in 1930s. Most likely this is the same Franz Matthias who stood at the roots of Ernemann company, which was known as "Dresdner photographische Apparate-Fabrik Ernemann & Matthias" in 1889. Company was selling a lot of photography equipment, including cameras made for them by Agfa and Balda. Frama was dissolved close to 1940s.
