E & HT Anthony produced a number of innovative camera designs. The Novelette is one of those most innovative designs of the Anthony brand.
Made of highly polished, top-quality mahogany. It has folding back and conical bellows. It is very lightweight, compact and sturdy. Images can be taken vertically or horizontally, easily and quickly. The back of the camera is separated from the base by simply pushing it from left to right, the keyhole slots release the heads from the screws. The front of the bellows is arranged to rotate in a lightweight frame that moves over the two front vertical brass bars. When the back of the camera is separated from the base, the entire bellows rotates at the same time as the back.
