ZEISS IKOFLEX III AND MIRANDA CAMERA

Postby PeterG » Fri Jan 15, 2021 11:51 pm

Hi,
My name is Peter from Brisbane AUS.

I have 2 cameras of which I have done some research on.
Please see attached photos.
Just after an estimate of value please? I haven't really seen any of the Zeiss Ikoflex III advertised here in Australia, but have seen a few on Ebay overseas.

Both cameras have original leather cases. The Zeiss has full case, but is separated at one of the creases. The Miranda case is intact.

1. Zeiss Ikonoflex III 853/16 1939 .
Good condition. Seems operational except the focus knob on side only turns slightly(feels like it needs freeing up. Also the top releas button doesnt work so I need to open manually. I believe it just needs some freeing up.

2. Miranda 1959? Miranda Camera Company S/N 580209
Lens f=5cm 1:28 T139373 Not sure if this is an S or T model or other?
Would like to know the specific model.

Thanks for your time
Peter

Definitely early Miranda S ( w/WLF). It's easy to confirm it: There's " Miranda S Japan" engraved on back right side of top panel. Also, the lowest shutter speed is 1/30 s.
Best regards.
