Help Identify Folmer Schwing Camera

Postby shadow67550 » Tue May 26, 2015 2:08 pm

I recieved this camera in a box of old materials and it has a name "Folmer Schwing" but I have not been able to identify what model or name it is. The case is approx 12 " tall * 8 1/2" Wide and 4" deep . There are rails on the back door so I think it might have parts missing (long bellows or extended back)
If you can identify it, can you tell me what lens it should have?

That is very close. The only thing I see is that there is no side door opening in the case. This may be a later version of the camera you showed me.

I was looking at the other cameras in the link you posted and I think I may have found the camera.

The Graphic Naturalist Camera is a dead on match. My camera is missing the back section but the dimension and picture match the front and all the metal pieces are gun metal finish.

Thanks very much, I appreciate the help

I would not have found it without your help

Pleased to see that you could identify your camera. It was a bit difficult to see based on the pictures that you posted. Maybe you can send some more pictures to Diser so that he can upload them onto the Collectiblend database.
