Tele Rolleiflex

Postby Freddy » Mon Sep 16, 2019 11:42 am

A friend of mine has a Tele Rolleiflex from 1960. The body is in pristine condition, but the taking lens has a very visible balsam separation. Has any sense to offer some dollars for this camera? Can be the lens fixed? What could be a good price...if....

Thanks in advance

Model K75 Type I (1960). Total run of Tele Rollei was 8,490 copies. As of 1990 only about 1,200 examples existed, so it's quite rare and collectible camera. Its 135/4 Sonnar taking lens is notorious for balsam separation in front optics. It's estimated that about 90% of existing examples suffer from this flaw. I attached frontal pic of my copy ( no separation in Sonnar optics...) :) but the meter is kaput.....
