I just bought one of these on Ebay for $295, "910" series optics, meaning October 1949. and 5003 focus mount- March 1950. This will go with my 5cm F1.5 and 13.5cm F4 from 1949, and the 5cm f2 collapsible- all Leica mount.
The seller originally listed the lens as "not working/ for parts", but described it as in fully working order. I asked him about the listing, he meant to click "used". I bought it after he clarified.

BrianS, I just bought one of these at a flea market and the mount stamp is 50032558. From your post I get the 5003, but what the heck does the 2558 mean? Thanks for any help!
