Box cameras are not very attractive to most of camera collectors.
Sorry but I love them ....
This one is a bit special. It has been manufacturer by the French maker Goldstein to celebrate the 1948 Olympic games in London.

Re: Goldstein - Olympic
I love box cameras too! Goldstein made some beautiful ones, and many "specials" as well. I love your Olympic camera! Looks identical to my Caves St. Marguerite, just with a different foil label applied. And I would say yours is in much better shape than mine!
Have a look at some of the cameras in my collection:

Hi John,
Very nice item !
Your box camera "Caves Ste Marguerite" is a variation of the cardboard cameras made by Goldstein that is scarce (even in France where I live).
My collection includes eleven different Goldstein box cameras and I am still searching for this one.
If we consider the different foil labels, the détails of construction, the materials (metal or cardboard) and the colour variations. A collection could be dedicated to this brand only.
