Hiya, and yes I did in fact make the largest rookie mistake in all of photography -using a cotton swab to clean my camera sensor.

I have only done this once and believe I was "somewhat" gentle, I'm worried that I may have caused long term problems for my Canon AE-1 which I had recently purchased. I can't see any scratch marks at all, so I wonder if I may just be overreacting but it's always best to check with people who know their stuff y'know.

Please tell me I didn't ruin this $160 camera
