Collectiblend

I am not a camera expert and if some of my terminology is wayward please excuse

I have collected cameras and lenses for ages and now must start shedding the cart. One of which is a Leica M6 that came with a Summicron-M 1:2/35 Leitz lens.
I did use it for photographing close up of flowers .....this is in fact all it can do viz close up, because other than f stop adjustments between 2 and 15 there are no other possibilities.

This part lens screws onto a short barrel / tube that is either very tight or fixed onto the camera itself. The standard of this part or adjustment is of the quality I would have expected from the factory

My question is about whether this is a special once off lens etc or if not what?

I tried to email you but it was not delivered this time. The lens looks like the focusing mount is from a different lens and someone but the summicron on it. Kind of a weird thing to do but if it works then its good for a user lens! What other items do you have in your collection?

I don't believe I have anything exciting but will get through sorting sometime.
