Hi, all!
I've have a vintage SOM Berthiot OLOR 1:5.7 f38 lens but I'm having serious difficulty not only identifying the mount, but it's value. There are similar on eBay going for upwards of $1k!
On this lens either it's a very old screw in mount, or the mount is just flat out missing. The diaphragm appears to be very good, and other than being dirty, it's in decent shape. Can anyone help, or know who might?
Two picture included within.
Thanks so very much,
Jason

Hi Jason,
Can you measure the thread diameter in MM?

Thanks for the reply!
I have a micrometer at home, so I'll measure tonight and get back to you.
Thanks again,
Jason

It’s 36mm,
If it’s missing the mount (helicoid), I wonder if it can found, or what’s its worth without.
Thanks for your time,
J

It sounds like it is missing the mount....probably was originally a Exacta mount....hard to gauge a value without the mount unfortunately. Wonder if it could be found....

Yeah, I’ve been looking, but they seem to be way hard to find.
Thanks so much for your time!
