Hi, i would be very pleased if someone could give me an idea about what this Folding Ensign 3 1/4A by Houghtons of London is worth. I searched for it in the past , but I never saw one that has square ends. The ones with the rounded ends seem more common. The camera looks pretty decent. The shutter works except for B and T. The viewfinder is is starting to show corrosion. The glued cloth hinge for the back door is showing problems as can be seen in the photo. It looks like the glue is letting go.
Thanks, Nand.

Re: Requesting value for Folding Ensign 3 1/4A by Houghtons of London
In today's collectors' US market Ensign folders values are in range of $20 - $40 and it assumes decent condition. You may need to subtract 30-40% due to non-working timed and bulb modes on shutter. Do the math and you'll get an answer.

Thank you for the reply. That is about what I paid for it.
What I find odd is that I never found any mention of this model anywhere. That is the square vs the rounded corners model. Also the plate that holds the shutter/lens is mode out of wood instead of metal.

Nand,
This seems to be a Folding Ensign Jr from 1912. I'll add it to the list of Houghton's cameras, thanks!
