I've done a fair amount of research on this camera. I want to thank collectiblend for having the complete Bell & Howell 70's models listed it really helped a lot! I haven't been able to find and 70's model that has that hand stenciled scene selector. It has a nautical style font and meticulously hand written Behind it is the Model # but I cant get the Filmo key off and was afraid to scratch it up due to the screw being to tight. I did see similar ones were used in extreme weather conditions ranging from Antarctic Expeditions, on ships and documenting Mt Everest etc. There is a number on the inside of the flim housing cover # 57414. I have links to detailed pictures below some of the files were to big to upload here. Thank you for your help!
