I found this Dallmeyer 1.9 lens at my parents place and have been trying to find some info on it. I looked through the archives at the otherwise awesome http://www.cameraeccentric.com/ to no avail. Does any of you know about it? And should I buy a converter to my canon or try and sell it? Im bit unsure about the condition, the lens has a some dust, and it feels like it could need some tightening here and there.
Thanks in advance!
Dallmeyer 1.9 lens. What is this thing!?
Re: Dallmeyer 1.9 lens. What is this thing!?
It looks like a cine lens in D mount. It would fit on an 8mm movie camera such as a Bolex or similar. D mount lenses tend to have much lesser value then C mount or 16mm camera lenses

Nice, thanks alot for the clarification:-) Do you think I can get any fun out of it if I buy an adaptor to a canon or sony dslr to shoot stills?
Thanks again for your help!
