I bought this camera for basically nothing. It’s missing the lens and ground glass on the back. There is nothing on the camera that tells me who/when/where it was made. Any help identifying it would be appreciated.

Interested in the cameras I have accumulated?
Check them out here: http://collectiblend.com/Cameras/mycamp ... p?uid=5145
Please note: My list is nowhere near up to date. There’s about 70 more to add.

Hi! Welcome to the forum!
This is a Ross Panros model.

It's hard to tell the exact year though. I see the same shutter knob in ads from 1911-1914, and then reappearing in 1919. None has the shutter speed explanation strip like yours.

Re: Camera Identification
Thanks for the welcome and information. Everyone I asked around town said it was an old German model. I figured it was too as the bellows have an identical pattern on them like my Orionwerk 9x12 cm.

Re: Camera Identification
Yep, at the first glance it looks like Goerz Anschütz or Nettel Deckrullo. All focal-plane strut-folding cameras are based on the similar pattern (well... not counting French ones) . Yet, yours has a Ross shutter (helped to pinpoint manufacturer), as well as distinctive pull-out curves (helped to confirm model and manufacturer).
