Old Delft Delfinor Lens

Postby southernexposure » Tue Oct 24, 2017 9:53 am

Hi all
I wonder if anyone can help me find out a little more about a lens that I currently have? It is a Old Delft Delfinor F=190mm f/3,2 projector lens. I have been unable to find another as comparison so I am interested to discover if it can be adapted to use on a modern camera?
It looks 1950's or 60's to my untrained amateur eye :D ? It has what looks like a serial number 511643 which may help. The condition is very good, I cannot see any optical damage, fungus, chips or scratches and the chrome case is also very good. All in all a very nice quality old lens. The original box is also present and in fair condition with some tape repair.
Obviously if anyone can help me with a rough idea of its value or any info on this item I would be very grateful, I exhausted my knowledge on it weeks ago :D
Many thanks
Ian

On Jan 28 2018 there was a similar lens for sale on Ebay which was adapted for a Sony A9 camera, maybe you can get in touch with this person on Ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Old-Delft-Delfinor-75mm-f2-Projection-Lens-with-Helicoid-adapter-for-Sony-E-FE-/162826700484 Ebay Item nr 162826700484. Don't wait too long, ebay removes stuff after a number of weeks and the above link will not work any more.
Interested in seeing what I am collecting ? Check out my camera collection:
