Hi. It´s look like an Ernemann Ernette or Erni model...maybe you must find it in an earliest Ernemann catalogue. Good luck!!

Thanks Willo. No any bids yet for this 6.5 x 9 cm palte camera. Could it be a Zeiss Ikon instead of Ernemann?

Hi hjh67...Yes, you are right , may be its a Zeiss Ikon Erni, indeed. I am not an antique cameras expert, I just use my Mc Keowns catalog, when I have doubts. Hope you will find a good buyer for your camera, but I guess you should fix a price for it.
Ebay its a good place for sell it. I was trying to sell a Kodak Retinette around here, but...as I told you, we are in the wrong web to bid. Good luck!!

I won the net auction of this camera and received the camera yesterday. It is a Orionwerk Orion Box for 6,5x9 cm plates and film packs. The manufacturer is not indicated at all on the camera. I was lucky to spot another similar camera on a fleabay site to confirm the identification, though I was too slow to buy it (that with red background). The stops are in funny order: 25, 12 and 17. McKeown 1997/1998 provides a spec of the camera, but no photo. I paid 46 eurand the other one was 57 eur.

Your camera is probably a Rio 73B camera from 1923. (plate size is indeed 6.5X9cm). This camera is described on page 767 of Mc Keown's 12th edition (price range $ 125-175).

I have attached a picture of the Orion Box camera from 1930 which is described on page 762 of the same Mc Keown's (price range $75-125).

Kind regards.
