Coronet Box 1930's but which model?

Postby ffotografer » Tue Oct 07, 2014 10:24 am

I have just purchased the following on Ebay France.....

Having looked on the site it appears closest to a Coronet "Joni Box"

Perhaps a nameplate has been affixed over the embossed "Coronet" beneath the lens and it is the same basic model?

Does anyone know what the base model is and year etc?

Many thanks Brian ( a newbie to this form living in France)

Hello Brian,
Your box camera seems to be similar in construction to this variation of the model called "Every distance" from Coronet

This variation was dedicated to the French market. The "Every Distance" was released circa 1935

Thanks Daniel

Very interesting link, it does indeed look like the same model, but just not showing the "Every Distance" around the lens but "Objectif Coronet" instead.
Cheers Brian
