Ansco Coca Cola camera

Postby arnstone » Sun Sep 28, 2014 3:11 am

Hi all. I need tech specs on my new Polar Bear camera. I know it was made by Ansco In 1999. And it's a cool camera. But I would also like to know all the other stuff like: What is the original camera called, lens shutter speed, etc?. Thanks for any help :)

Some technical details in this link:

https://www.flickr.com/photos/coleccion ... 605192455/

Shutter speed 1/125, probably made in China, plastic lens with 3 elements (made in Japan ?) DX coding - automatic detection of ISO value between 100 and 400.

Thanks M. I appreciate that. But wouldn't the shutter/lens change with the ASA auto setting?

Not sure Arne, maybe the camera changes the diaphragm setting. If you can test it under different lighting conditions you may be able to see how it works ?

Here is a pic from the bottom of the original box that states "Ansco Three Year Limited Warranty". That is all I have to go by.
