Postby arnstone » Fri Jun 06, 2014 10:04 pm

Hi all :D I think this is a Leica IIIg :?: My question is did they make Canon, and maybe other brand lenses for Leicas :?:
Obviously this one has a Canon lens. Screw on? Thanks, Arne

Yes, a IIIG; the bigger viewfinderwindow is the clue (plus other details).

No, Leitz made only Leica optics.

Canon\Kwanon made their own m39 screw mount lenses. Nikon, Voigtländer, Schneider and Rodenstock and many others also made M39 optics.
