Curious Serial Number on Zeiss lens

Is there any colecting interest on lenses or cameras with curious serial numbers? I´ve just bought a Contax II with a Sonnar 50mm F2 with a quite “neat” serial number: 2400000 and I´ve never seen nothing like that before. Feel free to share yours.

That's right even though not every "Apollo" share the same differences. Nikon F was slowly evolving to the F2. Mine is one of the last 13000 Fs

Hi I’ve seen that there are some variations of the Nikon F, first units, 66xxxx models, red dot ones.... but does not appear one named ”Apollo”. It was a late Nikon F that had some pieces from the F2. It was nicknamed after the space Apollo missions that used to carry Nikon Cameras but nothing to do...

If the X789 is the serial number placed on its hotshoe, it could be a 1952 Contax IIa.
