I've seen some "PATT XXXX" Royal Navy Leica, mostly IIIc, all with war and pre war serials but today I've got a curious variant. A PATT 8665 1947 Leica C upgraded to III F.
Any information about this cameras will be thanked.

Re: Fake or real Berning Robot
Congratulations again, please keep me informed of whatever they tell you about the camera. I assume yo read all the research I did, at last the Historic Archive of the Italian Air Force contacted me to tell me that they did not have any information of cameras purchased for war purposes, specifically...

Additional information to date a Canon F-1n Body
I've just purchased a Canon F-1n and in my obsession to date my cameras I've found two different serial numbers, the outside one 663962 and the internal linked to the accurate manufactured date. According to this information, my camera has the V1018 that apparently means that this camera was built o...

Every auction leads to overpriced results as desire make you bid over its estimation. The thing is that as it is a rare item there are no many places to compare prices. I've checked in Live Auctioners as they offer a database o a wide range of auctions, some overpriced but other under a fair price t...

It seems a pre-war one, I am curious about the engraving next to the slow speeds right dial. Prices may vary, from 400 to 1500€, there is one currently for auction on Leitz Auction. Maybe the engraving could add more value to your camera.

Re: unknown companies: Feig
The only inscription is the FEIG Logo on the lens. There is no serial number or other information. It is a quite simple camera, fixed focus lens, fixed aperture, the shutter speed is selected by sliding an outside ring like Compur shutters. The shutter is triggered from the lens, the button on the bo...

Re: Real of replica?
After some researches, it turned to be a replica. Some time ago there was in Spain a collection named "build your own vintage camera" I think they used a Lancaster as the brand ended activity more than 50 years ago and they would not find any problem with patents and the use of the brand. ...
