Is it possible to do the same for the thumbnails - now they seem to appear in a somewhat arbitrary order, I think it would be nice if they were sorted by age.

I don't know if this can be changed but if you have multiple pictures for one camera, there does not seem a way to select specific pictures to delete. It seems to be only possible to delete the first picture, which is annoying if one wants to delete a picture in the middle of the series.
