Re: Fallowfield Multiplicator camera 6 Lens

Catherine, Rob Niederman may be able to help you, as he is a very knowledgeable collector with several multi-lens cameras. I don't know if he visits this site, but you could reach him by posting a comment on one of his photos over at Collectors Weekly. Here is a link to an appropriate picture you co...

Re: Keystone K38

Generally speaking, any kind of factory errors that get though Q.C. make an item more valuable. In the case of this particular camera however, "more valuable" would mean what - fifty bucks? Not enough to retire on! :| I mean, I personally think it's cool, because I like stuff like that, bu...

How bizarre! Surely that's a misspelling.

Re: Goldstein - Olympic

I love box cameras too! Goldstein made some beautiful ones, and many "specials" as well. I love your Olympic camera! Looks identical to my Caves St. Marguerite, just with a different foil label applied. And I would say yours is in much better shape than mine!

Re: Pics of Cameras

Well John I'm hoping your not taking offense, and It's not supposed to be offensive. You of all members have an outstanding collection. I've looked at it a couple of times. The pic of your Speedex is outstanding. I would be proud to use that if I had that camera. I'm not sure what I would find offe...

Re: Pics of Cameras

If you've seen the cameras I've posted here in my "inventory", you know how I feel about it. Only photos of my personal cameras appear there. Part of the reason for that, however, is that many of my cameras are unusual, and in fact many of them had no representative photo on this website u...

Re: Haake Albers Box Tengor Rare!!!!

Looks the same as this one to me: http://collectiblend.com/Cameras/Goerz-C.P./Box-Tengor-%286x9%29.html The "Haake & Albers" on the front looks to be a retailer's badge, similar to the Optiker Leidig badge on my Baby Box: https://c1.staticflickr.com/7/6165/6162555040_c40865da27_z.jpg A...

Re: Leica IIIc (possibly SS)

I cannot find anything that would indicate a camera made for the SS. Here is all I can find: YEAR: 1941/42 MODEL: IIIc STARTING S/N: 369451 ENDING S/N: 390000 BATCH: 20550 Since your S/N is closer to the ending number, I would say your camera was probably made in 1942, but that seems to be all I can...
