Re: Need help identifying 1950's era Canon
Looking at McKeown's Guide: "less than 2400 made". $250-350. $540 on eBay is with the "buy it now" option and it's hanging over there for a while. At the same time there is another II D 1 on eBay for $275. Also, no one is buying it (probably because it is defective). Yes, number ...

kAt,
You are right, Canon IID doesn't have a speed indicator. Canon IID1 does ;-) Also there is Canon IID2, which is also slightly different.

Re: Leica value
I am sorry to disappoint you, but this one seems like a poorly made Russian copy. The serial number indicates it should be IA, but since there is a two-piece top, it should have been converted to II or III. At the same time it doesn't have some key attributes, and the quality of the top is below ave...

Re: Looking for Quotes on Equipment
You are right about prices for these Pentax cameras. Those prices were published by PW back in the days these cameras were almost new. I'd divide them by 10
Olympus OM-1 should be close to $60-100 including its lens.

Re: Zeiss Ikon Contaflex Super 10.1271
Is that an additional lens or the only lens? 35 or 85mm? I guess you have 50mm Tessar on the camera. Anyway, the camera in good condition with case and instructions is about $70-100. Several cameras in average condition were sold on eBay for less than $60. Additional f/3.2 lens in a good condition i...

Re: Riken: Ricolet
It's approximately the same as other Ricolets. According to McKeown's they all are about $30-60.
Ricolet S was sold on eBay recently for $25 including shipping. Though Leicashop has Ricolet I in store for 190 Euros.
