Arnold Linco Flex Camera

Postby Der84 » Sat Sep 27, 2014 4:50 am

I recently bought a small camera called a Linco Flex made by a camera maker named Karl Arnold in Germany around 1932. It takes 127 film.

Other then here on collectiblend which gave little info....
This other site: http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Arnold was the only site that seemed to mention the Linco Flex and other cameras made by the same guy.

Does anyone else know anything about the camera or seen it before. Is it a possible rare camera?

Here is a picture of mine complete with case. It's in a little rough shape too, but the shutter and everything still works on it.

Hello Der84

I may confirm the answer to the same question given here (To you?)
http://en.allexperts.com/q/Collectibles-General-Antiques-682/2014/9/question-antique-camera.htm

We may think that this camera was a renamed version of the Karma-Flex 4x4 model 2 . Possibly for a retailer (Other "Linco" cameras seems to exist)

Yes Daniel that was me who posted that haha.

I actually asked the question about this camera on a few different sites, hoping for an answer. I definitely got one thanks to David Silver. Oh yes, I do believe that others exist, but from what it sounds like, it's definitely not a common camera to come across.

Thanks Daniel.
