omega 45E lens

I reciently bought a Omega 45E view camera from an estate sale, it has a tessar 4.5 210mm lens. It looks like it might be
kind of old , the shutter speed dial is on the top of the lens. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

Based on the serial number it looks like your lens is from 1941 (see http://forum.mflenses.com/carl-zeiss-jena-lenses-issue-date-by-serial-number-t6865.html.
