ID help Herlango glass plate folding
Found this cheap on ebay. Was listed as Zeiss Ikon, but could not ID by the pics. Turns out its a Herlango with a Z. Ikon plate holder. There isnt much info on these around and few photos. Any help with a more positive ID would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: ID help Herlango glass plate folding
Antique folding plate camera made by Herlango in Austria around in 1920-25.
The camera is mid-sized, contained in a leather-covered wooden box with metal frames and rails.
Has black leather bellow.
The camera is fitted with large Xenar 35 mm f=150mm lens made by Jos.Schneider & Co. Kreuznach with
Compur Super-fast shutter.

Re: ID help Herlango glass plate folding
Thanks, but Im in search of a modelname/number. Its a 105mm f4.5, not 150 3.5. Also, the box is metal not wood.
Re: ID help Herlango glass plate folding
Could it be a Herlango Oran https://www.flickr.com/photos/kameramuseum/3908607665/meta/ or http://www.photohistory.at/kameras2.htm from 1927 ?
Interested in seeing what I am collecting ? Check out my camera collection:

Re: ID help Herlango glass plate folding
None of those look right. The main difference that i see being the view/range finder window on the body and the wire frame on the lens bed. My flip up finder is round and curved. The wire frame finder doesnt go up and over the focus lock knobs but rather out and around them when folded in. I absolutely cannot find one picture of identification that matches all other statistics along with the finders.
