I am curious,..
Does anyone have any idea as to whether or not, a camera, (in this case a Nikon F 64****) has any addition value?, or detriment value with the <E - P > embossing?
The camera body, and the lens (in this case a 28mm 3.5 Nikkor) both have the same etching.
I know that its basically equipment sold through either the embassy, or the various military bases there in Japan at the time, but curious, how few?, or how many there were. Seems like it would be a smaller number, but wanted feedback if anyone had any thoughts on it.

Thanks.

E-P is an Exchange Post engraving - this model was sold in a military base store. No added value, from what I understand.
