Pearl began it was a range finder camera coupled to the viewfinder and a non interchangeable German made lens with a leaf shutter. The Pearl range is equipped with various objectives in Germany, by Cassar, Xenar or Radion 5Omm of/3.5 f/2.8, the f/2.0 Xenon 5Omm, all on German Prontor or Compur shutters. In 1953 the camera is put into production without star followed in 1955 rangefinder cameras even easier Alba, Atom and Atlas, all equipped with German goals.
