Willy Stübiger was an engineer at C.P.Goerz before he decided to make his own camera equipment in Dresden, Germany starting 1927. Vertex and Erte names were used until 1960s in the photo enlarger and projectors/lanterns series. Stübiger's company had close ties with Romain Talbot, which was selling Willy's cameras under its own name. In c1967 the company it was renamed to PGH "Präzision" and then to VEB "Präzision Dresden". Word of caution, the cameras could have been made by Unger & Hoffmann. |
